What is MULTIeco?
DALI® MULTIeco is the perfect solution for the lighting control in offices providing simple operability and a variety of functions. The ideal solution forms the automatic daylight-dependent control in combination with a presence detection. The 50mm long mini ceiling instalation sensor reacts on light and presence and does not disturb neither the ceiling look nor the room architecture. The controlling device can be installed in the false ceiling, in a mini distribution box or directly in the luminaire. The installation is very easy and can be done retrospectively.
To increase comfort at work and to save energy, the DALI MULTIeco control unit controls automatically the lighting at work and in office depending on daylight and the presence of people.
Use the DALI MULTIeco control device to control the following ECGs:
- OSRAM OTi DALI 75/200-240/24 1-4 CH
- OSRAM OTi DALI DIM CV Dimmer
The control unit can be operated in two different modes: Brightness control or brightness reduction.
Brightness Control
The sensors measure the brightness in the area to be regulated and keep this to an adjustable set value by introducing artificial light according to the amount of daylight available. The sensors also detect the presence of people. When the level of daylight is sufficient or people are no longer present, the connected luminaires switch off after an adjustable delay time.
Brightness Reduction
If persons are present, the luminaires are dimmed to an adjustable brightness value. If no persons are present, the brightness drops to a fixed stand-by value (50%, 30% or 10%) after an adjustable delay time.
Automatic switch-on and automatic switch-off during periods of prolonged absence can be activated and deactivated using different modes.
Wiring
Doing the wiring is very easy. A normal 5-pin cable for electronic installations is suficient.
Operation
The lighting control is done fully automatic via sensor(s). Furthermore, all function can be set via DIP switches at the DALI MULTIeco control unit. Additionally, it can be controlled manually using standard wall push buttons.
